Biography:

Anton joined the Climate Change and Energy Unit in 2008 and works primarily on climate change policy. He has contributed to various reports and projects, including on border measures for tackling carbon leakage, sectoral approaches to climate change mitigation, international climate negotiations, EU-US climate cooperation, future flexible mechanisms, the fiscal implications of adaptation in the EU and financing climate action. He is also involved in tender preparation and management of projects and events.

Biography:

Arno Behrens is Head of Energy and Research Fellow at the Unit for Energy and Climate Change of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS). Before that, he worked as Second Secretary at the German Federal Foreign Office in the context of the 2007 German Presidency of the European Union. Other main cornerstones of his career include the European Commission, the Sustainable Europe Research Institute (SERI), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
